Only the second Adelaide women to ever attempt Mount Everest, Lynette not only had to contend with severe weather conditions that hampered her expedition, but she also experienced a fall down a crevasse, survived ten hours eating one boiled egg, witnessed emergency rescues in blizzard conditions, trekked with an unsavoury team, suffered a severe allergic reaction and acknowledged the realisation that, despite all of her training and $80,000 spent, she had been beaten by mother nature. However, not deterred, Lynette has already commenced her training for her 2011 summit to Mt Everest, a place from which one in every ten trekker does not return. It can be a cruel mountain!
At the same time, Lynette has been raising awareness and funds for the children's development organisation Plan, and in particular, their Because I am a Girl campaign, which supports efforts to identify and respond to barriers girls face in developing countries.
Success Secrets of Confident Women is an inspirational and practical personal development workshop for women, presented by Sheridan Stewart, former 16 year veteran of FM radio. The workshop facilitates change and provides the skills and tools needed to assist women in achieving their goals and vision in their work, home, or personal life. From women returning to the workforce, through to career women looking to expand their horizons, or achieve a work-life balance.

Dr Jane Aronson, also known as the "the orphan doctor", founder of Worldwide Orphans Foundation, adoptive parent and child advocate. Since July 2000, Dr Aronson has been in private practice as Director of International Paediatric Health Services, in New York City. She is Clinical Assistant Professor of Paediatrics at the Weill Medical College of Cornell University and has evaluated well over 4,000 children adopted from abroad as an adoption medicine specialist.
