"Assisting women in the development, growth and creation of outstanding opportunities in all aspects of their lives."
Lynette Trott describes herself rather unflatteringly as a "nerdy accountant" who was not a particularly adventurous child. However, following a relationship breakdown twelve years ago, severe depression and the need to rebuild her life, she created a "to do" list. As a result of that list, she has mountaineered and trekked some of the highest peaks around the world and in May 2010 Lynette Trott spent 55 days on Mt Everest!
Only the second Adelaide women to ever attempt such a climb, Lynette not only had to contend with severe weather conditions that hampered her expedition, but she also experienced a fall down a crevasse, survived ten hours eating one boiled egg, witnessed emergency rescues in blizzard conditions, trekked with an unsavoury team, suffered a severe allergic reaction and acknowledged the realisation that, despite all of her training and $80,000 spent, she had been beaten by mother nature. However, undeterred, Lynette is currently training for her 2011 summit to Mt Everest, a place from which one in every ten trekker does not return. It can be a cruel mountain!
Lynette's powerful and awe inspiring story of a dream and passion, sheer determination and lots of hardwork will let you realise that "we can all achieve our Everest".
Lynette is available for corporate, community and school speaking events. Contact us today to discuss your next team building event.
